Software Architecture Background I have over 25 years experience architecting, designing and developing software systems, including 16 years with Hewlett-Packard. Ten years ago this year, I founded Bredemeyer Consulting to focus on architecture consulting and training. Several thousand architects, senior engineers and managers have taken my architecture workshops. I have provided architecture consulting to architects, architecture teams and their management at the project, organization and business unit levels, and have helped teams develop software, firmware and system architectures for products, product families and information systems. I am co-authoring a book on software architecture with Ruth Malan.
